Local Delivery
Delivery within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, New Hamburg, Elmira, and St Jacobs Ontario is a flat rate of $10.00 per delivery.
Deliveries would occur on Fridays only between 9:00am to 3:00pm. If you or the recipient of the floral arrangement are not home, it will be left outside in a water bucket. Please note: The quality of the arrangement may suffer if left outside all day.
If any of these times or dates do not work, please select "Pickup" option.
Dahlia Guarantee
Each dahlia tuber received is the variety purchased and will have have at least one viable eye. Please refer to Mislabed Dahlia section for policy.
Within 24 hours of receiving tubers, we are no longer responsible for the care or growth of the tuber.
Dahlia Viruses
We cannot guarantee that a dahlia is free from a virus as we do not test for dahlia virus. If a dahlia appears to have a virus (signs in leaves or poor plant performance) it is pulled from production. If a dahlia is showing signs or crown or leafy gall as we wake up tubers, we dispose of them. We carefully sanitize our clippers between cuttings and deadhead by pinching off blooms with hands. Tubers grown by me are sourced from flower farmers within Canada, not a wholesale or Dutch import. In the future, I would like to offer virus free cuttings from meristem tissue culture.
There are two common dahlia viruses such as Dahlia Mosiac Virus(DMV) and Tobacco Streak Virus (TSV) which show symptoms such as stunted growth, yellow rings, and/or irregular patches of different colours.
How can this happen?
1. Sap sucking insects, such as thrips and aphids
2. Transfer of virus by infected tools or hands
3. Poor soil conditions
